Mr. Ellig is born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Robert Louis and Lucille Marie Ellig.
1959
Mr. Ellig receives a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
1960
Mr. Ellig receives a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and begins working with Pfizer, Inc. in New York City.
1965
Mr. Ellig is elected Board Chair of the Society for Human Resource Management.
1978
Mr. Ellig becomes vice president of compensation and benefits at Pfizer, Inc.
1982
