Earns a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas at Galveston.

Interns at the Medical College of Ohio.

1977

Does her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston, Texas, until 1980.

1982

Becomes a certified obstetrician-gynecologist.

1981

Owns and operates Champions Women’s Center, a private obstetrical-gynecologic practice in Houston, Texas.

1989

Serves as chief of service at the Houston Northwest Medical Center.

1989

Teaches as a clinical professor of obstetrics-gynecology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

2019

Maintains her status as a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics-Gynecology and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha.
