Earns the Dr. Walter Atkinson Star Medal Award.

Works as a head nurse within the neurosurgery operating room at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.

Works as a clinical coordinator of the neurosurgery operating room at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia.
