Is a resident in internal medicine at the County Hospital of Nürnberg in the Federal Republic of Germany.

1965

Immigrates to the United States.

1966

Becomes s a rotating intern at Edgewater Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

1967

Is a resident in anesthesiology at the University of Chicago Hospitals.

1969

Teaches as an instructor in anesthesiology at the Pritzker School of Medicine within the University of Chicago.

1970

Is an assistant professor in anesthesiology at the Stritch School of Medicine within Loyola University in Maywood, Illinois.

1972

Is an associate professor of anesthesiology at the University of Chicago.

1975

Becomes a faculty member within the Cook County Graduate School of Medicine in Chicago.
