Dr. Dimick is born in Birmingham, Alabama to Daniel Baker Dimick and Jennie Rose Dimick.

1953

Dr. Dimick receives a Bachelor of Science from Birmingham Southern College.

1958

Dr. Dimick receives a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Alabama and becomes an intern at the University of Alabama Hospitals.

1959

Dr. Dimick becomes a resident at the University of Alabama Hospitals.

1963

Dr. Dimick becomes an associate professor of surgery at the University of Alabama.

Dr. Dimick is promoted to full professor of surgery at the University of Alabama.
