Mr. Blackford is born in Camden, New Jersey to Ralph Kurtz and Jean Mabel Blackford.

1972

Mr. Blackford becomes an accompanist at the Cinnaminson Community Chorus in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.

1974

Mr. Blackford becomes an organist and choir director at Trinity Episcopal Church in Delran, New Jersey.

1977

Mr. Blackford receives the Ezerman Piano Scholarship to the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts (now the University of the Arts) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

1980

Mr. Blackford receives a Bachelor of Music in music education from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts.

1980

Mr. Blackford receives the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts Alumni Graduation Award from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts Alumni Association.

1982

Mr. Blackford receives a Master of Music from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts.

1985

Mr. Blackford becomes a vocal teacher in the Waterford Township School District in Atco, New Jersey.

Mr. Blackford is appointed director of the Cinnaminson Community Chorus.
