1936

Is born in Osaka, Japan.

1953

Attends Camp Rising Sun in upstate New York as an invitee from Japan.

1961

Earns a Medical Doctorate from the Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tokyo.

1963

Undertakes an internship at M Health Fairview.

1965

Is a resident of internal medicine at Rochester Regional Health, Unity Hospital.

1967

Undertakes a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine.

1970

Enters private practice as a cardiologist at Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport, NY until 1980.

1972

Inducted as a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

1980

Serves as a physician and cardiologist at the VA Multispecialty Clinic in Sacramento, CA  until 2002.

1980

Inducted as a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

2002

Serves as physician and cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center until 2007.

2007

Commences his retirement.

2021

Passes away following a life dedicated to healing others. Is survived by his wife Yoko and two sons, Ken and Ko, as well as his sister, Yoko.
