1930

Is born in Vermont.

1942

Begins his career in broadcasting at the age of 12.

1948

Undertakes undergraduate coursework at Middlebury College until 1952.

1949

Is involved in the construction of a radio station in Middlebury, VT.

1952

Earns an undergraduate degree from Middlebury College.

1953

Joins the RCA Corporation, where he becomes director of frequency management and works with the team that invented the color television system for public consumption.

1986

Commences his retirement.

1988

Travels more than 96,000 miles in his motorhome alongside with his wife, Linda, until 1998.

1991

Moves to Sun City Center, FL, where he creates a “Welcome Neighbor” program and is involved with various community organizations.

1999

Creates eNEWS, a newsletter sent by e-email for 21 years to over 5,000 subscribers.
