1938

Born to parents Walter and Alta in Norman, OK.

1962

Earns a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma.

1965

Receives a DDS from the Baylor College of Dentistry.

1966

Completes dental internship at the Wilford Hall USAF Hospital.

1971

Completes residency at the Ohio State University.

1972

Receives the Louis J. French Memorial Prize for Scientific Presentation.

1974

Serves as founding chairman of the Department of Endodontics at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry until 2000.

1977

Works in private practice at Endodontic Practice Associates until 2014.

1985

Teaches dentistry in Brazil, Spain, England, Israel, Mexico and Egypt, among other countries, until 2003.

1987

Is a fellow of the American College of Dentists.

1990

Serves as secretary and treasurer of the Oklahoma Section of the American College of Dentists until 1993.

1993

Serves as president of the Omicron Pi Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon until 1994.

1994

Serves as chairman of the Oklahoma Section of the American College of Dentists until 1995.

1994

Serves as a board director of the American Association of Endodontics until 1996.

1997

Maintains affiliation with the Oklahoma Section of the International College of Dentists.

1997

Is a fellow of the International College of Dentists.

2002

Serves as president of the central district of the Oklahoma Dental Association until 2003.

2004

Is granted professor emeritus status at the University of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry.

2014

Retires from Endodontic Practice Associates.
