Earns a Bachelor of Science from The College of St. Elizabeth.

1969

Completes a Dietetic Internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Weill Medical Center and becomes a Registered Dietitian.

1969

Is a Clinical Dietitian at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Weill Medical Center for private and semi-private medicine.

1970

Is a Clinical Dietitian at Boston City Hospital with the Harvard Medical Service and with the Boston University Obstetrics and Gynecology Service until 1973.

1974

Is a Clinical Dietitian at Mercy Hospital in Orlando, FL, until 1975.

1975

Is a Clinical Nutritionist at the Missouri State Chest Hospital until 1981.

1977

Is a Consultant Dietitian at St. Luke’s Nursing Center until 2022.

1980

Earns a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Kansas Medical Center, College of Health Sciences and Hospital.

1981

Is a Clinical Nutritionist for Dialysis and Radiation Oncology and attains leadership roles at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, MO, until 2008.

1990

Selected as the Outstanding Dietitian for the State of Missouri by MOAND; Sits on the editorial board for the journal Clinics in Applied Nutrition until 1993.

1996

Is a member of the editorial board for the journal Nutrition in Clinical Practice until 2000; Is a Fellow of the American Dietetic Association.

1993

Is certified as a nutrition support dietitian by the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification until 1998.

2005

Is listed among the National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals until 2006.

2008

Joins the Golden Key International Honor Society; Is appointed to the advisory board at the Southwest Missouri Area Health Education Center until 2013.

2009

Earns a PhD in Nutrition at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; Is an assistant professor of biomedical science at Missouri State University (MSU) until 2016.

2010

Is certified as a master advisor at Missouri State University and appointed as a faculty member of graduate research through today.

2012

Poster presented at the 16th International Congress of Dietetics in Australia graded as Highly Commendable.

2016

Is a fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics through today; Earns a Lifetime Achievement Award from MOAND.

2016

Is promoted and tenured as an associate professor of biomedical science at Missouri State University through today.

2017

Earns a Lifetime Achievement Award from MOAND.
