Mr. Anderson is born in Mankato, Minnesota to Robert Arthur and June Anderson.
1962
Mr. Anderson marries Ausma Edite Leipins Anderson.
1963
Mr. Anderson receives a Bachelor of Science from Minnesota State University and becomes an art teacher in the Long Beach Unified School District in California.
1964
Mr. Anderson studies graduate courses at California State University Long Beach.
1969
Mr. Anderson becomes an art teacher at Appleton West High School in Appleton, Wisconsin.
1973
Mr. Anderson becomes an art teacher in the Anaheim Union High School District in California.
1974
Mr. Anderson studies graduate courses at Minnesota State University.
1975
Mr. Anderson is named Outstanding Teacher of the Year by the Anaheim Union High School District.
1979
Mr. Anderson is appointed president of the Allied Arts Board of the city of Huntington Beach, California.
1980
Mr. Anderson becomes an art teacher in the Los Alamitos Unified School District in California.
1981
Mr. Anderson exhibits one-man shows at the University of California in Los Angeles and at the Galleria Coyoacan in Mexico.
1984
Mr. Anderson participates in the “Olympic International Artist Exchange” group exhibition at the Huntington Beach Art Center in California.
1985
Mr. Anderson becomes an art teacher at the Orange County School of the Arts.
1986
Mr. Anderson is named Outstanding Artist of the Year in Huntington Beach, California.
1994
Mr. Anderson establishes the Bill Anderson Art Gallery.
1995
Mr. Anderson exhibits at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at California State University Los Angeles.
2000
Mr. Anderson exhibits at the Vincent Price Art Museum.
2001
Mr. Anderson becomes an art teacher and muralist at East Los Angeles College in California.
2016
Mr. Anderson authors “Huntington Beach: Through the Eyes of Artist Bill Anderson,” “Seal Beach: Through the Eyes of Artist Bill Anderson,” “Baseball, Great American Pastime Through the Eyes of Artist Bill Anderson,” and “The Female Form: Through the Eyes of Artist Bill Anderson.”

Mr. Anderson is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
