The Hon. Judge Jones is born in Chicago, Illinois to Fred Alexander Jones and Luenettie Jones.

1975

The Hon. Judge Jones receives a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois.

1977

The Hon. Judge Jones receives a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Valparaiso University and becomes a legal assistant in the Porter County Prosecutor’s Office in Valparaiso, Indiana.

1978

The Hon. Judge Jones is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and serves as legal counsel in the Cook County Legal Assistant’s Office in Maywood, Illinois.

1980

The Hon. Judge Jones joins the Illinois Association of Trial Lawyers.
