Ms. Goddard is born in Steubenville, Ohio to Albert Leonard and Mildred Irene Goddard.
1969
Ms. Goddard receives a Bachelor of Science in education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and begins her career as a teacher at Gregg Elementary School in Bergholz, Ohio.
1972
Ms. Goddard serves as a cooperating teacher at Franciscan University and becomes a Martha Holden Jennings Scholar.
1973
Ms. Goddard receives a Master of Education from Miami University.
1974
Ms. Goddard serves as president of the Edison Local Education Association.
1978
Ms. Goddard serves as president of the Eastern Ohio Education Association.
1981
Ms. Goddard serves as publicity chairman, recording secretary, box office chairman, lead actress, and assistant director of the Steubenville Players.
1985
Ms. Goddard serves as a delegate to the representative assembly of the National Education Association.
1986
Ms. Goddard serves as the treasurer of the Ohio Valley UNISERV Council.
1987
Ms. Goddard serves on the Edison Local Advisory Council on Drug Education.
1988
Ms. Goddard serves as a state judge for the Ashland Oil Teacher Achievement Awards.
1990
Ms. Goddard serves on the executive committee of the Parent Teacher Organization at Gregg Elementary School and she serves as an instructor in first aid, CPR and AED with the American National Red Cross.
1992
Ms. Goddard participates in county teachers workshops with ARC/Jefferson County Teachers.
1994
Ms. Goddard joins the Curriculum and Textbook Committee in Jefferson County Schools.
1998
Ms. Goddard presents at the Ohio Regional Teachers Workshop.
1999
Ms. Goddard becomes a teacher at Springfield Middle School.
2000
Ms. Goddard serves as the Jefferson County Coordinator of a preschool/kindergarten workshop for the American Red Cross First Aid Course.
2002
Ms. Goddard serves as the media club advisor at Springfield Middle School and as a Praxis III Assessor for the Ohio Department of Education.
2003
Ms. Goddard serves as the spelling bee co-coordinator of the Edison Local Spelling Bee.
2017
Ms. Goddard is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
