1953

Dr. Leone is born in Nyack, New York to Anthony John and Anne Helen Leone.

1975

Dr. Leone earns a Bachelor of Arts in English and education from LaSalle University and begins his career as a teacher at Bishop Egan High School with the Catholic Schools of Philadelphia in Fairless Hells, Pennsylvania.

1978

Dr. Leone serves as an advisor of the literary magazine at Bishop Egan High School.

1982

Dr. Leone receives a Master of Arts in English from Villanova University and becomes a teacher at Sewanhaka High School, where he also serves as an advisor to the drama club.

1985

Dr. Leone becomes a teacher at Farmingdale High School, serves as chair of the Mazeppa Planning Committee in Nyack, New York, and becomes a founding member of the Rockland County YMCA Youth Services in Nyack, New York.

1986

Dr. Leone serves as chairman of the Nyack YMCA Board of Managers.

1989

Dr. Leone marries Dee Ann Hammond and becomes a professor at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York.

1990

Dr. Leone becomes a teacher at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.

1991

Dr. Leone serves as president of the Mazeppa Engine Co. #2 in Nyack, New York.

1993

Dr. Leone becomes a teacher at Rockland Community College and serves as a computer consultant for the Nyack Fire Department.

1996

Dr. Leone serves as the editor of D.A. Report.

2001

Dr. Leone becomes the program administer at Westchester Community College and serves as the English curriculum coordinator for the Verizon Next Step Program.

2002

Dr. Leone receives the Outstanding Programs in English Award from the Two Year College Association-National Council for Teacher of English.

2006

Dr. Leone earns a Doctor of Arts in English from St. John’s University in Queens, New York and receives the Star Award from the Verizon Next Step Program.

2008

Dr. Leone receives the Recognition Award from Cisco Networking Academy.

2015

Dr. Leone receives the Next Step Recognition of Service from the Verizon Next Step Program.

2017

Dr. Leone is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
