1930

Mr. Hudson is born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to John and Olive Hudson.

1952

Mr. Hudson receives a Bachelor of Art in mathematics and economics from the University of British Columbia.

1953

Mr. Hudson joins Canadian Pacific Airlines, serving in marketing for 11 years.

1954

Mr. Hudson marries Patricia Joan Hudson.

1964

Mr. Hudson joins Eaton Department Stores in Toronto in the head office.

1969

Mr. Hudson transfers back to Vancouver with Eaton Department Stores and becomes senior vice president of the Pacific Division, serving a total of 17 years with Eaton’s.

1974

Mr. Hudson serves as general campaign chairman of United Way of Greater Vancouver.

1975

Mr. Hudson serves as the trustee of St. Paul’s Hospital.

1982

Mr. Hudson joins the Vancouver Stock Exchange as president.

1983

Mr. Hudson serves as chairman of the board of trustees at St. Paul’s Hospital.

1985

Mr. Hudson serves as chairman of the board of governors at Simon Fraser University.

1993

Mr. Hudson is presented with an Honorary LLD from Simon Fraser University.

1995

Mr. Hudson serves on the board of directors of the Vancouver Club and retires from the Vancouver Stock Exchange after 14 years.

2017

Mr. Hudson is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
