Receives a master’s degree in social work from Valdosta State University.

Serves as an active duty member of the U.S. Army in Iraq until 2012.

Is licensed as a clinical social worker in Georgia;

Is a reserve social worker for the U.S. Armed Forces through today, during which time she rises to the rank of captain.

Out of 14 other social worker recovery units, is bestowed with a Best Social Worker recognition by the U.S. Army.
