Obtains a Master of Business Administration in business administration and management from the California State University, Sacramento.

Is the director of the California Farmers’ Markets Association and continues in the role.

Receives a U.S. Congressional Honor.

Is the executive director of the Marin County Farmers’ Market Association until 2004.

Is named Farmers’ Market Manager of the Year by the Northern American Farmers Direct Marketing Association Community Services Agencies.
