1938

Dr. Kettleson is born in St. Paul, Minnesota to John Benton and Dorothy S. Kettleson.

1954

Dr. Kettleson becomes an Eagle Scout and receives the God and Country Award.

1956

Dr. Kettleson graduates from St. Paul Central High School.

1956

Dr. Kettleson attends Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota for two years.

1960

Dr. Kettleson receives a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota.

1961

Dr. Kettleson marries Karen Nordstrom Kettleson.

1964

Dr. Kettleson receives a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota.

1964

Dr. Kettleson becomes an intern at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota.

1965

Dr. Kettleson becomes a resident in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

1969

Dr. Kettleson serves to major in the U.S. Air Force.

1971

Dr. Kettleson becomes vice president, secretary, and treasurer of Orthopaedic Surgery, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska.

1974

Dr. Kettleson serves as secretary of the Nebraska Orthopaedic Society and the Mid-Central States Orthopaedic Society.

1974

Dr. Kettleson becomes an elder at Presbyterian Church of the Cross.

1978

Dr. Kettleson becomes department chairman of the Orthopedics Immanuel Medical Center.

1982

Dr. Kettleson becomes president of Nebraska Spine Surgeons.

1994

Dr. Kettleson retires from practicing medicine due to disability.

1994

Dr. Kettleson becomes owner of Eagleview Farms in Crosslake, Minnesota.

2001

Dr. Kettleson is named Minnesota Outstanding Tree Farmer of the Year by the American Forest Foundation.

2003

Dr. Kettleson founds Kettleson’s Eagleview Farms, LLLP, where he serves as treasurer and on-site supervisor.
