1951

Dr. Felthouse is born in Berkeley, California to James Whitman and Patricia Mae Felthouse.

1969

Dr. Felthouse is awarded a California State Scholarship to attend the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.

1972

Dr. Felthouse becomes a National Science Foundation undergraduate research participant at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.

1973

Dr. Felthouse graduates magna cum laude from the University of the Pacific, receiving a Bachelor of Science in chemistry.

1973

Dr. Felthouse becomes a graduate student and graduate teaching assistant at the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign.

1978

Dr. Felthouse receives a Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry from the University of Illinois.

1978

Dr. Felthouse becomes a research associate at Texas A&M University.

1980

Dr. Felthouse becomes a senior research chemist for Monsanto Company in St. Louis, Missouri.

1981

Dr. Felthouse serves as a news editor for the St. Louis section of the American Chemical Society.

1983

Dr. Felthouse becomes a research specialist for Monsanto Company.

1987

Dr. Felthouse is promoted to senior research specialist for Monsanto Company.

1988

Dr. Felthouse is appointed an associate fellow in Monsanto Enviro-Chem within the Monsanto Fellow Program.

1992

Dr. Felthouse is appointed a fellow in The Chemical Group’s Rubber and Process Chemical Division within the Monsanto Fellow Program.

1996

Dr. Felthouse marries Janine Marie (née Tillinger) Felthouse.

1996

Dr. Felthouse becomes a senior research associate at Huntsman Corporation in Austin, Texas.

2001

Dr. Felthouse becomes a catalyst research scientist in Monsanto Enviro-Chem within the Monsanto Company in St. Louis, Missouri.

2003

Dr. Felthouse is promoted to Monsanto Fellow within Monsanto Enviro-Chem within the Monsanto Fellow Program.

2005

Dr. Felthouse becomes MECS fellow within MECS, Inc. in Chesterfield, Missouri.

2011

Dr. Felthouse becomes a technology fellow and catalyst for DuPont Sustainable Solutions.

2019

Dr. Felthouse’s career to date includes 40 technical publications, four review articles and 10 U.S. patents.
