Ms. Foster graduates cum laude from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science.

Ms. Foster begins her work in interior design, which she continues to the present day.

Ms. Foster completes art courses at the University of New Mexico.

Ms. Foster becomes a buyer for Federated Department Stores in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ms. Foster becomes a home economics teacher for Southern Union Gas Co. Schools in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ms. Foster joins inventory control at Commercial Warehouse.
1975
Ms. Foster does sales for Amana, Quasar, Roper and Corning, and the PiƱon Tree Gallery.
1976
Ms. Foster chairs the Bicentennial Calendar Show and the National Small Painting Show for the New Mexico Art League.

Ms. Foster helps initiate the relocation of the New Mexico Art League.
1980
Ms. Foster becomes an executive assistant at Dynalectron (Now DynCorp International).

Ms. Foster becomes co-owner of one of the locations of the Knob Hill Art Gallery (Now The Gallery ABQ).

Ms. Foster becomes an interior designer in private practice.
