Dr. Armacost receives a Bachelor of Arts from Denison University.

Dr. Armacost becomes dean of students and chairman of Department of Psychology at Augsburg in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Dr. Armacost receives a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Minnesota.
1965
Dr. Armacost becomes program director of the Association of American Colleges and Universities in Washington, D.C.
1967
Dr. Armacost becomes president and a professor of psychology at Ottawa University in Kansas.
1974
Dr. Armacost is appointed president of American Baptist Churches of the United States.
1977
Dr. Armacost is appointed president of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.
1984
Dr. Armacost is appointed chairman of the Suncoast Chamber of Commerce in Florida.
1991
Dr. Armacost is appointed chairman of Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida.

Dr. Armacost is named to the Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame.

Dr. Armacost becomes President Emeritus of Eckerd College.
