Ms. Springer receives a Bachelor of Arts from Goshen College and becomes a teacher at Topeka Elementary School in Indiana.

Ms. Springer marries Walter Frederick Springer.

Ms. Springer becomes a teacher at Metamora Grade School in Illinois.
1960
Ms. Springer receives a Master of Science from Bradley University.

Ms. Springer becomes a teacher in the Bellflower Unified School District in California.
1970
Ms. Springer becomes a teacher at Lindstrom Elementary School in Lakewood, California.
1985
Ms. Springer receives the Cathedral Star Award from the Women’s Ministries of Crystal Cathedral.

Ms. Springer is appointed elementary director of the Bellflower Education Association.

Ms. Springer becomes a teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in Bellflower, California.

Ms. Springer is appointed president of the Bellflower Education Association.
1992
Ms. Springer becomes a teacher at Woodruff Elementary.

Ms. Springer becomes a teacher at Williams Elementary in Lakewood, California.

Ms. Springer becomes a teacher at Baxter Elementary in Bellflower, California.

Ms. Springer is appointed by People to People Ambassadors with 17 U.S. educators to observe and dialogue from preschool to university levels in South Africa.
2015
Ms. Springer receives the Ambassador of Zion Award from Shimon Peres, the former President of Israel, and Dr. Mike Evans, Founder of Zion Museum in Jerusalem.
2017
Ms. Springer is inducted into the International Educators’ Hall of Fame in Orange County, California.
